Marta Rocha is the new People Manager of Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas
Marta Rocha has just taken on the position of People Manager, also joining the Executive Committee of Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas (SCC).
The recently appointed People Manager takes on this role to pursue the ongoing transformation projects and implement the company’s people strategy. Among her assigned duties is organizational climate improvement, continuous development, and realization of employees’ full potential, as well as the implementation of the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion action plan which ultimately aims to develop an increasingly inclusive workplace.
Marta Rocha has a degree in Development and Cooperation Management from Universidade Moderna, and extensive experience and know how in Human Resources and Communication. Before joining SCC, she worked as Human Resources and Communication Manager for Makro Portugal (Metro Group), where she worked since April 2017 being in charge of the people strategy for Makro Portugal and Metro FDS Portugal.
SCC’s new People Manager’s career has been diversified, and includes positions in several multinational companies like Portucel, Benetton, Citibank, VMPS and Mars Group.
With over 20 years work experience, Marta is now preparing to lead a new challenge as People Manager of SCC, whose drinks’ portfolio includes brands like Sagres, Heineken, Bandida do Pomar and Luso and Castello waters, among others.
SCC’s Executive Committee now has ten members, four of whom women, thus contributing to HEINEKEN Group’s aim to increase gender diversity in top management positions.
